The South West loop of the project concludes on 12th July in Bayern, and here is the plan!

08:00-09:30 – breakfast in München at Café und Bäckerei Mauerer, Landwehrstrasse 31 (Ecke Schillerstrasse), 80336 München (map). Call by and say hello! It’s 5 minutes on foot from Hauptbahnhof. In case my night train from Zagreb is horribly delayed (I have a buffer of almost 2 hours), Edmund Lauterbach of Pro Bahn will be there on time – keep an eye on #CrossBorderRail on Twitter for updates.

Then I will be heading to Bayerisch Eisenstein, on these trains (available on a 9 Euro Ticket):

München Hbf D. 10:24 – A. 12:00 Plattling
Plattling D. 12:06 – A. 13:13 Bayerisch Eisenstein

I will then explore the small museum and border station at Bayerisch Eisenstein, before then departing at 14:44. Anyone is welcome to come along!

And then in the evening – before I head back to Berlin for a short break – I am speaking at an event organised by the Grüne Fürth entitled “Zug statt Flug” at Ludwigscafé inside Fürth Hbf – you can find all the details here. Christian Zwanziger, member of the Landtag in Bayern is also speaking. The event will be from 18:30 until about 20:00. Thank you Philipp Steffen for inviting me!
