Today’s background
This is an extra #CrossBorderRail day – to go to Enschede in Netherlands to film part of a documentary with a Dutch film crew. We will film at Enschede station, where the German and the Dutch networks are separated by a physical barrier. The trip to Enschede is rather uninspiring – a Thalys between Paris and Schiphol Airport crosses both the FR-BE and BE-NL borders at high speed. Both of these borders I have crossed before. You can see these borders on my All The Borders map.
