In the research for my #CrossChannelRail project in spring 2025 I, Jon Worth, aimed to examine the future of high speed trains through the Channel Tunnel. That would encompass all the stations in continental Europe that could be served directly from London, all the operators that could potentially rival Eurostar, and examine all the types of train that can be operated through the Channel Tunnel. Like all of my other railway research and advocacy work, #CrossChannelRail was crowd funded, and hence is independent of all governments and railway operators.
Now the time has come to present the conclusions of this work – with the final report.
You are invited to the launch of the report – in person in Brussels, and online – at 12:30 CET / 11:30 GMT on Monday 17th November.
