At least five Class 120 mainline electric locomotives are parked up, never to run again, at Thessaloniki. Used as spare parts donors. These are 200km/h 25kV 5000kW locomotives. Oh and funded with EU money… 🤷‍♂️ #CrossBorderRail

Queues of trucks stretch back kilometres at #calafat #romania today, waiting to cross the EU funded bridge to #vidin #bulgaria. I missed the train to Calafat, so took a taxi, that couldn’t easily get beyond the trucks. So I took to the bike instead… and took a few drone pics.
