Der Hauptteil der Forschungsarbeiten des #CrossBorderRail-Projekts ist nun abgeschlossen.
Jede Binnengrenze der EU, die man mit dem Zug überqueren kann, hat Jon Worth überquert. Insgesamt wurden in 40 Reisetagen mehr als 90 Grenzen überquert.
Nach über 180 Zügen, 30000 Kilometern auf Europas Schienen und mehr als 30 Fahrradetappen, um die Orte zu erreichen, an denen die Züge nicht mehr fahren, ist es nun an der Zeit, darüber nachzudenken, was sich ändern muss, um die grenzüberschreitenden Bahnverbindungen in Europa zu verbessern.
Wir laden Sie daher zur ersten Präsentation der Projektergebnisse und zu einer Podiumsdiskussion am 29. August 2022 in Berlin ein.

The main part of the research of the #CrossBorderRail project is now complete.
Every internal border of the EU you can cross by train Jon Worth has crossed it. More than 90 borders crossed in total, in 40 days of travel.
After over 180 trains, 30000 kilometres on Europe’s tracks, and more than 30 bicycle legs to get to the places the trains no longer run, it is now time to begin the reflections about what needs to change to improve cross border rail connections in Europe.
You are hence invited to the first presentation of the results of the project, and a panel discussion, on 29 August in Berlin.
