At short notice there are a couple of changes to Day 09 (München) and Day 12 (Dresden and Görlitz) of the project.
Due to rain forecast, the original venue in München cannot host the meetup on Thursday 11 May, so that has been moved to Wirtshaus in der Au, Lilienstraße 51, 81669 München (Map) instead, just a short walk from the original venue. The same interesting discussion is nevertheless expected – do come along! Everyone is welcome! Please just tell me if you’re going to come along.
There are more major changes on Sunday 14 May in both Dresden and Ebersbach.
The formal event in Görlitz has been replaced with an informal event in Dresden, that will allow me to meet Matthias Ecke MEP (S&D Group, S&D) there. The event is 12:45-14:15 at Bäckerei und Konditorei Schwerdtner, Prager Str. 2, 01069 Dresden (Map) – close to Dresden Hbf.
From Dresden the plan is to take the train via Bad Schandau to Rumburk, and then cycle to Ebersbach (Sachs) – a leisurely 9km cycle. And then there is a further change – steam trains are exceptionally running on 14th May between Ebersbach and Löbau, a line that is normally closed to passenger traffic – more about this here. So I will take the steam train to Löbau, and continue to Dresden from there.
You are most welcome to come along in the train to Rumburk, for the cycle from Rumburk to Ebersbach and/or for the steam train ride to Löbau. It’s a Sunday afternoon – it’ll be an interesting trip in the countryside!
